My recount writing.

Here is a story of what I did.

On Saturday my Aunty came to my house with her new baby.
His name is Coby.
When he was born he was as small as a cracker
but now he is huge. Now he is as big as a cracker.
Me and my mum were having lunch when they came.
When I saw Coby I was soooo excited.
I was jumping up and down.
He is the cutest baby I have ever seen.
Then we went to New World to get some baby food for Coby.
We went back home and put him to sleep. He was asleep so my aunty put him in my mum’s 

bed and then I put a pillow under his head.

I put the other two pillows around him so he would not fall off the bed.

My aunty said, “Let’s go to her mum’s house.”
So she grabbed Coby and then she went to her mum's house.
And then me and my mum went to my cousin’s birthday.
She was turning 7 after we went back home.the end.

Statistical Investigation

At lunch with Nan and cousin.

I went to my Nans house for the holiday and so here is a story of when we went out for lunch WALT to use more interesting words and sentences in our Recounts.

In the holiday on a Wednesday, it was a nice sunny day me, my Nan and my cousin went to town in Dargaville, for lunch but first we went to Count down. Then we went to Sharaz. It is a place to eat. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner there.

We went for lunch. My Nan ordered us a coke each from the bar. The man came to see what we wanted to eat. We all knew what we wanted to eat so my nan ordered our food straight away. I had butter chicken, and my Nan had a pizza. She said that they had the best pizzas but she did not even eat half of it. So I said, “Nan you didn’t even eat half of it.”

When I saw my food coming I was so excited. I had a huge smile on my face. I was as happy as a clown. I had some of the chicken. It was delicious.

My nan put the rice on the plate and then she put the chicken on the plate she had to do it because it was hot and if I did it I would have burnt myself. Then the man came again to give my cousin his food. He had fish and chips. We did not eat all of it so we took it home. We ate the leftover food from our lunch for dinner but my cousin did not eat his. He just wasted his food.

He was eating a chip from his plate and he spit it out on the table. I said, “Ewwwww that is disgusting.” He said that they were cold but when I had one they were nice and hot. Then he said that they were too hot and then my Nan came to put her pizza on the bench and she saw how much he ate so then she said, “Eat some more.”

But he still did not eat anything off his plate so he got in trouble. My nan said that if he did not eat his food he had to go to bed so he shoved his food in his mouth.
